Ok, still on the hunt for a few more ingredients before making this cheesecake. Hm, cheesecake. More like Uncheesecake.
I saw Red Barn had tofutti brand creamcheese substitute, "Better Than Creamcheese". That company has some marketing skills. I didn't see any sour cream substitute though. The brand that was reccomended to me was "Sour Cream Supreme". I also didn't see liquid Lecithin there, only granular.
Sooo, I decided I'll have to make a trip to People's Choice, maybe tomorrow, to see if I can get all these ingredients at one spot. These are the only things I'm missing. Well, maybe a couple others to make a mint chocolate cheesecake, like creme de menthe liquor, peppermint schnaps, and peppermint extract. Geez, this is gonna be a $20 uncheesecake!
Apparently this is a solid recipe, so I have to try it.
